Learning Jin Shin Jyutsu engages one in self-study, self-help. Through the process of “Now Know Myself” we recognize the wisdom of the body and we learn to interpret the messages provided and to utilize them to restore balance in our lives.
For those who want to become actively responsible for maintaining their own health and happiness, Jin Shin Jyutsu is an excellent means to that end.
If you wish to learn the gentle art in order to help yourself, your family or friends, small group workshops are available.
There is no pre-requisite for attending Self-Help classes.
The Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help Classes offered are based on Mary Burmeister’s three self-help books. Each of the three Self-Help Books while focusing on different aspects of the Art stands complete in itself and provides a simple yet powerful introductory experience of this gentle Art. The classes are usually one to two days, with each class focusing on one of the three books
Book I – Introducing JIN SHIN JYUTSU IS. looks at simple and powerful sequences bringing balance to “MYSELF”
Book II – Introducing JIN SHIN JYUTSU IS. (Continued) KNOW MYSELF IT IS focuses on the 26 Safety Energy Locks and Keys
Book III – Introducing JIN SHIN JYUTSU IS. (Continued) KNOW MYSELF BE IT IS, IS. focuses on FUN with fingers and toes
And classes can be tailored to meet the needs of your group. For example: two-hour sessions weekly over three weeks; or all three books covered in a five-day class (10am to 5pm daily).
Self-Help classes can be arranged for small groups in your local area by request.
